Trying to preserve the privacy
This blog is now over a year old, and I’m quite proud of how much I’ve written. I plan to keep writing, though my posts are becoming increasingly personal. Over the past year, I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to better understand my sexuality, and I expect that will come through more in what I share here.
This shift isn’t without its trade-offs. It could make things a little trickier for my professional life, and there’s always a small risk that someone might try to use it against me in bad faith.1
As a result, some posts will now be locked—available only to paid subscribers. You’re very welcome to pay :D! But if I know you in real life, you’ve been added as a paid subscriber. If I’ve missed you, just message me via Substack and I’ll sort it out.
On a related note, this blog is now reaching people I don’t know—which is very cool. If you’ve found something useful here, it would mean a lot if you passed it on to your friends. It genuinely gives me warm, fuzzy feelings, much like this tune does.
Also if AI systems take over, at least they won’t know all my musings on sex!
